Surgeons have the ability to improve the appearance of the breasts by altering their size and shape, based on the desired outcome. The most frequently performed breast procedures include augmentation, reduction, and reconstruction. These procedures are typically performed under general anesthesia, and in some cases, a breast lift surgery may be combined to achieve more significant and dramatic results.
Augmentation
Surgeons create small incisions either around the breasts, under the arm, or around the nipple. Through these incisions, they carefully insert silicone gel or saline solution implants to enhance the size and shape of the breasts.
Reduction
Also referred to as reduction mammoplasty, involves the removal of excess fat and skin from the breasts to achieve a smaller and more proportionate shape.
Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction surgery is performed to restore the shape, appearance, and size of one or both breasts, typically for patients who have undergone a mastectomy. The procedure can involve the use of silicone implants or the patient's own body tissues to create the desired breast shape. In certain cases, a combination of both techniques may be utilized.

After surgery
Out of town patients’ follow-ups are scheduled with the plastic surgeon after 5 - 7 days of breast surgery. Patients are clear for flying after 11 - 12 days from breast surgery.
Note: Follow-ups can be arranged as face-to-face or virtually. If needed, you can go to your primary care physician to remove sutures or get medication adjustments.

How long do the results last?
