Do I qualify for a Bichectomy?

Will I experience pain during and after the surgery?
During the procedure, you will be conscious, but you will not feel any pain. However, you may experience some discomfort, swelling, and mild pain in the treated area after the procedure.
Will I need to follow a specific diet after the procedure?
Your surgeon may suggest avoiding acidic foods for a week or two and to maintain good oral hygiene by cleaning your mouth several times a day to aid in proper healing of the incisions.
Will the outcome of the procedure last forever?
The outcome of the surgery is generally long-lasting; however, weight gain can cause the Bichat bags to accumulate fat again, leading to a reversal of the effects.
