Do I qualify for a coronary artery bypass surgery?
The candidates for this surgery have significant coronary artery disease or untreatable blockages.
How can I get ready for the process?
Your medical history will be reviewed by your doctor throughout the examination. The night before the surgery, you will be requested to stop taking any medications and to stop eating.
What follows the procedure?
You will be sent to an intensive care unit (ICU), where your blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels will be supervised for 1 or 3 days. You may be able to return home after 3 or 5 days, depending on the number of bypasses.
How long will it take to recover?
Compression stockings are typically advised by specialists to be worn on the legs to avoid blood clotting or polling. A healthy diet must be maintained in addition to a change in lifestyle.
